Heydar Aliyev Centre

The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2 (619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

A common ticket system doesn’t include the Classic Car exhibition, therefore, this exhibition requires a separate ticket.

** Main preconditions for the Regular visitors group: Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and get registered as a member of the Regular visitors group (filling out the blank at the Center’s Ticket Office).

*** The following groups of Azerbaijani citizens can access free access to the Center’s museums and exhibitions for free: National heroes, Martyrs’ family members, children living in orphanages and boarding schools.

**** The following groups of Azerbaijani citizens are entitled to reduced fare tickets: War veterans, persons with 1-st and 2-nd category of disabilities, military servicemen, schoolchildren, students, and military college cadets and Azerbaijani nationals above the age of 65.
